How ImmuneACCORD Works?
ImmuneACCORD phytonutrition and phytotherapy synergistically moderate immune pathways that contribute to immune homeostasis.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?
A commitment to research of ImmuneACCORD phytonutrition and phytotherapy science studies include measurement of biomarkers, statistical analysis of health maintenance, prophylaxis and clinical outcomes that can, in future determine what actually works and what does not.

Interactive
Medicine & Phytotherapy

Alternative approaches are often used in conjunction with conventional medicine. This is referred to by The National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM) as integrative (or integrated) medicine because it "combines treatments from conventional medicine and complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) for which there is some high-quality evidence of safety and effectiveness."

Herbalism is a one aspect of Interactive Medicine
Herbalism is a traditional medicinal or folk medicine practice based on the use of plants and plant extracts. Herbalism is also known as botanical medicine, medical herbalism, herbal medicine, herbology, and phytotherapy. Sometimes the scope of herbal medicine is extended to include fungi and bee products, as well as minerals, shells and certain animal parts.

Many plants synthesize substances that are useful to the maintenance of health in humans and other animals. These include aromatic substances, most of which are phenols or their oxygen-substituted derivatives such as tannins. Many are secondary metabolites, of which at least 12,000 have been isolated – a number estimated to be less than 10% of the total. In many cases, these substances (particularly the alkaloids) serve as plant defense mechanisms against predation by microorganisms, insects, and herbivores. Many of the herbs and spices used by humans to season food yield useful medicinal compounds. -- From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herbalism

ImmuneACCORD™ uses science to support interactive medicine by connecting and scrutinizing the observations of traditional herbal medicine to modern medical practices.

Interactive Medicine has become a part of the disciplines at even the most prestigious institutes.  Just a few examples are listed below (click image links for additional information):

Synergy (from the Greek syn-ergo meaning working together) is the term used to describe a situation where the final outcome of a system is greater than the sum of its parts. -- Wikipedia.org
Phytochemicals are plant-derived chemical compounds under scientific research for their potential health-promoting properties. "Phytonutrients" are plant-derived essential nutrients scientifically confirmed as important to human health. -- Wikipedia.org
Homeostasis (from Greek: "to stand" lit. "to stand equally"; coined by Walter Bradford Cannon) is the property of either an open system or a closed system, especially a living organism, that regulates its internal environment so as to maintain a stable, constant condition. Multiple dynamic equilibrium adjustment and regulation mechanisms make homeostasis possible. The concept came from that of milieu interieur that was created by Claude Bernard and published in 1865. -- Wikipedia.org
In biology, the term epigenetics refers to heritable changes in phenotype (appearance) or gene expression caused by mechanisms other than changes in the underlying DNA sequence (hence the name epi - "in addition to" - genetics). -- Wikipedia.org
Fat located in the peritoneal cavity (abdominal area) that surrounds the body's internal organs.
A biomarker is a substance used as an indicator of a biologic state. It is a characteristic that is objectively measured and evaluated as an indicator of normal biologic processes, pathogenic processes, or pharmacologic responses to a therapeutic intervention. -- Wikipedia.org
Nutraceutical, a portmanteau of nutrition and pharmaceutical, refers to extracts of foods claimed to have a medicinal effect on human health. The nutraceutical is usually contained in a medicinal format such as a capsule, tablet or powder in a prescribed dose. -- Wikipedia.org

ImmuneACCORD technology is made possible by the ever-increasing scientific proof for a common role for abnormal inflammation in insult, injury and most disease, and scientific experimentation on the influence of dietary levels of plant phytonutrients on inflammatory pathways, the epigeneome and disease.
